The head of state traveled to meet with Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region on the start of the week. Zelenskyy announced that he met with fighters at the military base of the initial brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, a location approximately a short distance from the focal point.

Intense Situation in the Area

Geospatial data from a Ukrainian project revealed that invading troops had pushed further into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it remained beyond firm control by both forces. The conditions are severe, with reports indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in certain areas.
